World Water Week 2021, August 23-27
WWWeek will take place virtually from August 23-27 under the theme of Building Resilience Faster, addressing issues such as the climate crisis, water scarcity, food security, health, biodiversity, and impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Registration: For the first time ever, attending sessions will be FREE for all. That means that our entire Water GP staff, our clients, and our partners will all be able to benefit from the knowledge exchange at the preeminent global conference for water. You can register here. There is a strong nudge for you to pay, but you can get around this by clicking “Summary”.
Water GP Participation: With support from GWSP, the Water GP is (co-)convening or speaking at over 50 sessions and 2030 WRG is hosting a Business Roundtable. We are also preparing a virtual expo (the digital version of the booth), where participants can go to learn more about our work. The complete schedule of World Bank participation in WWWeek is available here.
The Water GP is contributing knowledge on several key topics this year – including on migration and development, inclusion, Covid-19, and climate mitigation and adaptation – so I encourage you to take advantage of the free virtual delivery of WWWeek, support our staff by attending their sessions, and learn something new. You can also follow along with our sessions on Twitter via @WorldBankWater using #wwweek.
